As we are entering Black History Month there are a lot of things that are going on all over the world, and here in the United States it is no different as politics has continued to polarize the world black people are still looking for a unified identity you see in this world, we went being jungle bunnies, to beasts, to negroes, and niggers to being colored or “The Blacks” as Trump calls us, to African Americans, well as the late “Harry Bellefonte” said we are Black Americans and maybe it is time to retire that term “African Americans” because as generations have passed most of the people today either do not know or do not care about what happened a couple of centuries ago but those who forget the past are doomed to repeat the future, you see when you are starved of knowledge you have a hunger that is so great that the only way to satisfy that hunger is to accumulate as much knowledge as you can, it is the same way on the financial side as well when you are broke you and invisible to the public and are starving for both money and attention once you get it you are fulfilled the struggle is over or so you think, see things have a way of coming back on you and bringing you back down to earth and this is where we all are, we have gotten too comfortable with where we are that we cannot see it going back to an era we label today as ancient times and some of us truly believe that we have made it and that there is no way that we could ever be put in bondage again that was the mistake of the freedmen in the past and it is our mistake today as I have said in previous blogs and podcasts it can happen and we are helping to make it happen by our actions nothing happens overnight it is a slow process and it goes without being noticed Black Americans are more divided today than we have ever been and we are there to be had because when they get rid of the fighters there will be nothing left but the lambs and they will be led to the slaughter I pray that I am not alive the day that that happens and I would hope that my lineage would be gone as well because unless we get it together we are headed for a very big fall.
