Self Love, Black Love

It has been in the news lately with the banning of the Honorable Louis Farrakhan from Facebook for what has been deemed by them as hate speech since when did encouraging black people to love each other a crime obviously in this country every group of people have promoted self love and I can't think of a group of people that need more self love than us it is because we don't love ourselves which is the reason that we are killing each other at a higher rate than any other race of people in America and the main reason for that is the deep down hatred that we have for one another and most of the time this hate is pettiness if you can't agree walk away from the argument but not us our egos won't let us and I'm not casting stones because I have been in the past guilty of this kind of behavior and it's because I didn't have knowledge of self and I didn't know how to love myself because I didn't think that I was worthy of self love and often in our communities if you can't love or respect you self how can you love or respect anyone else here's a thought you don't because your mind can't conceive the possibility of self love if you have never seen it, felt it, or lived it then to you it's not real if we continue down this path we will one day be extinct and there are people who are more than willing to help us with this goal I won't name names because that just gives them more fame and more notoriety that people like them don't need so a long story short I'm not on Facebook I haven't been on there for almost two years and don't plan on going back but the real message here is you must learn to love yourself before you can learn to love others that has always been the minister message and it is one that resonates with me everyday.
