It was once said to me that the best expectations were no expectations, I laughed about it at first but then I thought about it and I'm not so sure that the statement wasn't spot on now I don't advocate for people to have no expectations because that's not a good idea but maybe just maybe go about it a different way I myself have had high expectations and I'm quite sure most people do as well but sometimes in life for whatever reason it just doesn't work out the way that you planned it and for me that's my life but the hard part is letting go of the fact that in my case I'll never play Major League Baseball I'll probably never do all of the other things that I want to do but the one thing that I will never do is quit there is no give up in me though these days my focus is on being the best that I can be as the years have gone by I have learned to temper my expectations and strive for having a good and productive life and that is one expectation that I will see to the end.
