There has been and still continues to be a misconception in this country and among the more ignorant citizens about welfare how it started and who it was originally was designed for first off if you study history you would know that it came into existence as a means to help war widows who lost their husbands after WW2 and had no income because in those days most women were not working and they had children to care for this was the start of government subsidies fast forward to the future which is now today there are people who believe that the country has been giving minorities in this country gifts welfare is a gift last time that I checked you can't buy land on welfare you can't buy a car on welfare you can't go on any real vacation on welfare you cant't put your children through school on welfare you can't do anything on welfare except survive welfare is not a gift it's not a luxury item and it's definetly not a sustanible form of income in short welfare is not something you live on but mostly something you die on because the foods that you can afford being on welfare are foods that are desinged to slowly kill you but these are the only foods that you can afford so this country and the ignorant people who believe this need to put this "gift" theory to bed because welfare has raised a generation of people with no hope and no future because they are always chasing things that are out of reach because they have no way of obtaining these things and that is what this curse is all about we have to find a better way a smarter way of doing things because this system just isn't working but it is going to take people saying enough is enough we can't continue living like this it will be then and only then we will be free of this curse
