As I sit and stare out of my window on a cloudy late autumn day, I am left wondering to myself what just happened last night so there was a big election in this country, and we were given a choice of moving forward or going backwards and this country chose the latter, so I entitled this piece “Remember This Day” because it is the day that democracy died, and it is an a spot on assessment of what we have just witnessed before our very eyes this day will go down in history as a turning point in which life got a whole lot harder for people in this country and there are some of these people who will get what they deserve and those are the ones who will feel this the hardest because the lunatic is going back to the White House more emboldened, more deranged, and more determined to make this country something that it has never been and that's “great” so I say to the people who didn't even bother to show up and vote remember this day when you go apply for a job and you don't get it because of your race, remember this day when you are in need of government subsidies and there are none to be found, remember this day when a woman needs to see a doctor but can't because the laws won't allow it, remember this day when you need help with housing and there is none, remember this day rural blacks who voted for Trump when you are needed back in the fields again, remember this day goons in the hood when the cops shoot first and ask questions later and are rewarded instead of being reprimanded,  these are just a few of the things that this country is in for, Trump is on a mission to destroy anything that he does not like he has publicly called for a one day "Purge" to rid the country of all the vermin and people don't believe anything until they see it but I personally do not want to hear any crying or complaining when it happens to you because this is what you chose by not choosing to vote, for me I will be alright I am a survivor and I am on a mission for the next four years to see just exactly what will happen when the people who voted for Trump are down on their luck and looking for a hand will he be there to help? I think not but, in this world, there an old saying “you reap what you sow” and you get what you'll get so at the end of all this you will be asking yourself are you better off in 2029 than you were in 2024? think about that one for a while I'll wait…
