Creative writing whether it be freelance journalism, poetry, musical, or just for personal use is in it's self a journey into the personal thoughts of the person who is writing it, it maybe what someone has seen, heard, or experienced in their lifetime for me though creative writing is all those things above and more passion is what drives you to get out a pen and pad or on your lap top, phone, or computer and put down words that express your current thoughts that will live on long after you if preserved properly think of the many writers in history that have left their mark on this world that still shines today when I write I write about the past, the present, and the future creative writing is how I express my thought without opening my mouth sometimes words have more impact when they are written instead of being spoken my music is indicative of my thoughts of what I have seen, heard, lived through or witnessed and when I listen to other artists or read the writings of creative writers I feel their experience and passion through their words anyway that's what creative writing means to me so when you listen to your favorite artist try and block out the music for the moment and just try to understand what they are saying you might learn something that you didn't know.
