I had to write about this topic because it has been on my mind for a while even before Charlottesvilles and all of that drama and that is how easy that this country and people fall in love with statues and monuments especially the ones that just don't make any sense confederate statues shouldn't exist but for a lot of reasons not the fact that they represent the total opposite of what this country was supposed to be founded on which was being free from British rule yet these monuments represent people who fought to keep a certain group of people from being free talk about the irony and here is the lunatic president saying "oh our beautiful monuments and statues it's a shame what's happening to them" here you have a man with an obvious brain disorder praising statues and call people like Stonewall Jackson and Jefferson Davis great men that goes to show you why he is an incompetent buffoon but that's another story now we know that times have changed and people have gotten smarter but even a child would know that you don't erect statues of people who not only lost a war but fought a war against the country that you claim you love so much now to a rational thinking person does this make any sense well it shouldn't in the future people will wonder how did the people of the past ever think this way look here is the truth of the matter no parks, or monuments, or statues should ever be erected celebrating the oppression of people and I don't care who they are this country is once again at a crossroad and what the future will be is up to this generation the will of sensible people has to be known as well as shown our children and grandchildren deserve better
