An amazing revolution is happening in the city of Chicago and it's called city of Chicago private property signs they are springing up faster than dandelions and crab grass vacant lots old warehouse lots etc you ask why? why else money you see some of these lots are used by hardworking citizens who park there walk to the train because the cost of parking in downtown Chicago is excessively high just like everything else in this city I myself was a victim to this last week I parked on one of abandoned lots as I usually do and went on my way but when I came back I found that my vehicle and every other vehicle had a warning ticket and they put up signs saying no parking city of Chicago private property there are two things that I found funny about this first of all nothing is being built there and second of all who exactly is the city of Chicago? the people we are the ones who pay the taxes that in turn pays for the salaries, of the very officer who wrote those tickets and pay for the streets to get repaired which by the way are in terrible shape guns in the streets people being murdered everyday and yet the city of Chicago is focusing on trying to collect revenue from hardworking people who are trying to feed their families and for what? because they don't like that the city is not getting any money from these abandoned properties once again the people who run this city are showing the overall greediness and failure to put the important things first now Mayor Lightfoot has the opportunity to change things she will get her chance but if she fails to do her job then she shouldn't be allowed to keep hers either enough is enough we the citizens are the city of Chicago so there can't be private property owned by the city because it really belongs to us
