It is refreshing to see artists becoming more involved in the business and marketing side of the music industry finally artists are starting to realize that there is another side to music other than being in the studio and banging out fresh new tunes their are now movements that are starting with groups of people with the same goals but different aspirations coming together as one to create opportunities that otherwise may not have been there I speak with a lot of artists today and they are talking about things that would not have been talked about 5 or 10 years ago and they are determined to be involved in every aspect of their musical careers and I think it's great independent artists are starting to garner the respect and appreciation for what they are bringing to the game these are exciting times and this is only the beginning
