What Are We Doing?

As I read blogs and articles of what people are thinking and doing I ask myself as human beings what are we doing? then again I re-think it and say we know exactly what we are doing now more than ever we have a platform to express our thoughts that go running through our minds and we write it or post it not thinking about the consequences of our actions I too am guilty of this but when I speak, I speak the truth from my perspective of what I have seen and what I have gone through and witnessed in my life some of us have experienced different things and that is okay too but no one will tell me that I am wrong for my thoughts and feelings I am passionate about what I say and how I feel I do not represent any political party or any group this is all on me with that being said here are my thoughts I'm old school with my comedy Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Robin Harris, Eddie Murphy etc. and all of those guys were funny and I have enjoyed their jokes for years now in this day and age some of their jokes are deemed unacceptable in today's time Eddie Murphy even apologized for some of his jokes from over 35 years ago now Dave Chappelle is facing a similar situation where his jokes have offended people here's the thing for me if you go to any comedy show there is somebody that will be offended and that's fine if you don't like it don't go it's just like music, movies or anything else in life I don't like a lot of things hear or see but I don't try and stop someone else's freedom to do it I just don't pay any attention to it in my world it doesn't exist talking about people in comedy has always been a staple of jokes and I don't believe that any comedian for the most part is purposely going out on stage to disparage a group of people I think we are letting this thing get out of control yes there are people with bad intentions with their feelings toward other people but to me that is an individual thing I don't think a comedians words have any power with how we choose to conduct ourselves in public I don't care what you say only what you do to others that is what is really important.
