Well I know you look at the title of my blog and say to yourself what is he talking about? well here is my explanation when it comes to taking orders or advice from someone a black man is the last man on the totem pole I have friends who have all experienced the same thing people will just assume take advice from a dog than a black man and what's even more discouraging is that a black man is mostly guilty of this type of behavior I don't understand why it is I just know that it shouldn't be but for what ever the reason whether it's justified or not it is acceptable to do it and to me it is a shame that in society you have people who question your ability to lead or give good advice or direction based only on the color of your skin a black man can be a genius and yet he will still be second guess on every decision that he makes or every piece of advice that he gives out I experience this first hand everyday of my life in my profession and I have learned to accept the fact that you can't change people so you let them be and when they fail I don't get any personal satisfaction in this I just shake my head and nod which has become the norm lately I continue to try and lead and give advice when asked after all I can't change who I am regardless if people listen or not
